Wedding Policy
The family at Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church (LCBC) believes that a wedding ceremony should be Christ-centered. A wedding is a celebration of two people, male and female, that God has brought together. The wedding and its preparation should be done in a way that will bring honor and glory to God.
PROCEDURES:
Counseling
All engaged couples of the church who desire to be to married by the pastor will be required to have counseling sessions conducted by the pastor. Sessions should be scheduled with the church secretary.
Making Reservations
Contact church secretary to reserve wedding date. After date is reserved, contact church administrator to discuss the use of the church’s facilities. A reservation form must be completed, and if you are an outside organization a Hold Harmless Agreement must be completed. At that time a copy of the church’s Policies and Guidelines will be discussed and distributed.
Priority for weddings will be given to church members. Non-members will be allowed to schedule weddings no earlier than ninety (90) days before the event.
Music

Nails, tacks, staples, screws, pins, tape, or anything that will mark the woodwork, pews, carpet or walls will not be used. Wax candles will not be allowed. Only dripless candles will be allowed.
